Dionysos Dancers

Dionysos Dancers of the Hellenic Canadian Community of Edmonton and Region was established in 1982. Dancing has always been an integral part of the Greek culture, even mentioned in the texts by Plato and Aristotle. With more than ten thousand different Greek traditional dances on the go, the importance and celebration of the idea of community in all phases of life is being highlighted.

Every dance is one more opportunity, one more invitation for a gathering where the past meets with the present and the future on the dance floor. Please don’t forget to bring kefi with you, in other words your passion and enjoyment for life itself!
