A story based on real events focused around the striking figure of Queen Marie. Devastated by the First World War, crushed by disease, and held captive by hunger and despair, the political fate of Romania was extremely controversial. In the spring of 1919, Queen Marie attended the Paris Peace Conference to face the world’s most powerful leaders and to fight for her country.
